The Israel Festival is proud to host the premiere of the second season of the ClassiLike Series – musical-theater shows developed with support from Mifal Hapayis, Israel’s National Lottery.
Duration of performance: 50 minutes (without intermission)
A little girl must prepare soup to help a young man in distress. But the soup she must cook is no ordinary dish. It is a miraculous soup made from sounds, reminding us that we need art just as much as we need food.
Symphony Soup acquaints young audience members with the various components that make up an orchestra and the role each instrument plays in the work as a whole. Together with the orchestra, the children go on a journey to find music, and its apparent healing power.
